Crash Transit in Hong Kong
I haveĀ been into so many short transit, crash city tour program, but this transit to Hong Kong, back in November 2013 was probably one of the craziest program I ever arranged. How could this be?
IĀ landed at Hong Kong International Airport about 11pm from Taipei and my onward flight would be 5pm the following day. Arrived at InnSight (a budget hotel locatedĀ on 9 Lock Road,Ā Tsim Sha Shui, just next to Tsim Sha Shui MTR Station) past midnight, had a quick sleep, woke up for Fajr prayer, and checked-out at 6:30am. I was ready to hit the road just before sunrise.
And here what I have done: walked back to Avenue of Stars, took Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Shui to Hong Kong Central, walked around the city concrete forest, took a taxi to The Peak, rode The Peak Tram down the hill, took a tram to Central – Mid Level Elevator, then to Man Mo Temple.
After a stint shopping, I went to Kowloon Mosque for Friday prayer then to In’s Point (Yau MaTei MTR) for Lego stores then finally catched a taxi back to airport. Fiuuuh…
